“Summer Spell”

It's summertime
and the birds are chirping
so sweetly, indeed
as the trees are growing

Smells of barbeque
wafting through the air
awaken my senses

watching softball in the park
as I sit on the benches

A little bumble bee in flight,
explores all around me

I take in the sights
I delight in the smells

I love the senses of summer and it's
lazy-but-that's-ok
spell
